Common questions from BITSAT aspirants

How is BITSAT chemistry different from JEE?

BITSAT chemistry is largely NCERT-based, while JEE goes beyond NCERT. However, BITSAT rewards speed — you have roughly 80 seconds per chemistry question. The difficulty is moderate but the time pressure is intense. Preparation focuses on quick recognition and fast solving, not deep multi-step problems.

Is NCERT enough for BITSAT chemistry?

NCERT covers about 85-90% of BITSAT chemistry. We cover NCERT line by line, including examples, in-text questions, and back exercises. The remaining 10-15% comes from additional conceptual depth in physical chemistry and tricky application-based questions in organic chemistry.

How many classes per week for BITSAT chemistry?

For regular preparation: 2-3 classes per week. For crash courses closer to the exam: 4-5 classes per week with daily timed tests. The schedule is flexible and adjusted to your timeline.
